The Gate To Southwell Festival 2025 promises to be an unforgettable experience, taking place from July 3rd to 6th at Kirklington Lakes there are over 60 international folk roots and acoustic acts performing over four days. Whatever your style, there's something for everyone and we have teamed up with Gate to Southwell Festival to offer one lucky reader a chance to win weekend camping tickets.
This year's International line-up includes Richard Thompson, OBE, the great British singer-songwriter and former Fairport Convention guitarist; Senegalese star Seckou Keita and his Homeland Band; acclaimed Bellowhead frontman Jon Boden & His Remnant Kings; Alabama 3 (Acoustic), who sang the theme tune to Sopranos; Madrid-based Track Dogs; folk punks Skinny Lister; rising singer-songwriter Katherine Priddy, Texan Ruben Moreno, Spain’s El Pony Pisador, Midlands guitarist Sam Carter, highly-rated folk trio The Rosie Hood Band, Sam Kelly & Jamie Francis, Banter, Italy’s Veronica Sbergia & Max De Bernardi, Australians Hat Fitz & Cara, quality blues from Sanjay and Cadillac Kings, Liverpool folk rockers The Thomas Bradley Project and more. The festival is not just about music. It's also a family-friendly event with excellent kids entertainment, folk dancing and ceilidhs, a food and drink festival, poetry readings, comedy acts and an abundance of community spirit. GTSF is a not-for-profit organization run by dedicated volunteers, with any surplus income generated ploughed back into future events.
