A new children's play centre with soft play, laser tag, and party facilities has opened in Leicestershire. Vikings Play, Party & Laser Centre offers multiple party packages alongside laser tag sessions and private venue hire.
The venue, based in Shepshed Road, Hathern, near Loughborough, opened on Wednesday, November 6. It is the second location for the team behind Pirates Play Centre in Nottingham.
Owner Katy Kerr said: "With limited places nearby where parents can relax, grab a coffee, and meet with friends while their children play safely, we saw a real need for a family-focused space like Vikings and thought the location to be the perfect place."

Vikings Play, Party & Laser Centre hosts a number of party packages, including those which feature a DJ booth and twinkling floor. It also hosts laser tag session throughout the week, while private hire options are available too.
Additional party extras include mascot visits, face painting for up to 15 children and party bags. All parties include unlimited squash and sandwich meals, with a hot food option available at extra cost too. Vikings Play's centre features baby sensory zones and party rooms, with weekly classes planned for introduction.
