The details for the Great Central Railway Bonfire Night event in Leicestershire have been revealed. A spokeswoman for the railway said the occasion at Quorn and Woodhouse Station was set to be one of the “most exciting events of the year” with “dazzling fireworks and a giant bonfire”.
“Delicious refreshments” will be available from the Tin Shed Bar, while “Bonfire Night classics” such as burgers, hot dogs and sweet treats will be available from food stalls. There will also be rides for children and “entertainment for all ages”, the spokeswoman said.

Guests will also be able to travel to and from the event by train. You will be able to board a heritage steam or diesel train from Loughborough, Rothley, or Leicester North stations.
The event is set to take place on Tuesday, November 5, with the bonfire lighting beginning at 7.30 pm, while the fireworks will kick off at 8pm. Adult tickets for the event cost £13, while children can get in for £8.
